Only those fish with scales and fins were allowed; shellfish such as lobster and shrimp, fish such as sharks and dolphins, and other sea creatures such as eels were forbidden to help eliminate the chance of eating poisonous shellfish. However, we are still called to live according to God’s will. As we follow Christ, He will help us know what is right and wrong. We can trust Him to lead us along the path that will lead us back to our Heavenly Father.
