Some people believe the number 22 is a multiple of 11, which is considered a lucky number that also represents balance and harmony. However, the Bible generally says the opposite, stating it signifies chaos or disorganization in addition to God’s judgment and wrath.

For instance, Jeroboam I, the first king of Israel following the kingdom’s division in 930 B.C., ruled for 22 years (21 actual years from 930 to 909 B.C.). The worst-reigned Israelite king, Ahab, held his position for 22 years (874 to 853 B.C.), the same time as Jeroboam. King Amon, who ruled for only two years and is considered one of Judah’s worst rulers, was only 22 when he took office. These example show that the number 22 can often be seen as a symbol of bad leadership and/or disastrous rule.

Despite this, the number 22 also has positive connotations in the Bible. For example, there are 22 books in the Hebrew Bible’s Old Testament – an indication of completeness.

The Word of God was written with the Hebrew alphabet. The phrase “Word of God” refers to a lamp, which means that it is the light by which we are to live (Psalms 119:105). When we apply this to the number 22, we find that it is a multiple of 11 (two ones). The number 11 itself is a symbol of light and enlightenment. So, when we see the number 22 in the Bible, it can be seen as a reminder that God’s Word is complete and provides us with everything we need to live.

Angel Number 22 Meaning and Symbolism

The Book of Genesis, chapter 22, has a reference to the number 22. This is the chapter where Abraham is asked to sacrifice his son, Isaac. Abraham obediently follows God’s instructions, but at the last minute, an angel stops him from going through with the sacrifice.

The number 22 combines the attributes of the individual digits 2 and 4 (given that the sum of two numbers is 4) to create a message of one’s emotions, intellect, and values. The number 2 symbolizes partnership and cooperation, reminding us that we are not alone in our  life’s journey due to the support system we have from our peers. There are always others who can help us achieve our goals if we ask for their assistance. The number 4, on the other hand,  is recognized as a metaphor for diligence and perseverance.

When you see the angel number 22 frequently, the angels remind you to strive hard and take action to reach your goals. It’s a sign that there’s a great power within you to create your dreams into reality. The key is to have faith and trust that all things are possible  through the divine force of the universe that supports you.

What Are Examples of Chaos in Our Lives?

The number 22 is found throughout the Bible which often associates chaos. However, chaos can also be a source of new beginnings. It can be a time when we are forced to let go of what is familiar and move into the unknown.

For example, the great flood that Noah experienced was a time of chaos. The world he knew was destroyed, and he was forced to start over. But from that destruction came new life as God promised to bless and make a covenant with Noah and his descendants, along with His pledged not to destroy the earth again (Genesis 9:8–17).

Similarly, the Israelites were in bondage for 400 years before they were finally set free. That must have been a very chaotic time for them. But once again, from that chaos came new life and a new beginning.

Applying these examples to our lives, we can see that chaos is not always bad. It can be a time of growth and new beginnings. So, the next time you find yourself amid chaos, remember that it may just be the universe’s way of telling you it’s time for something new and better.

How Do We Deal With Chaos in Our Lives?

Our lives are far from perfect. And yet, we can take comfort knowing that we have a perfect God. Even though we often face challenges and difficulties, we can trust that God is in control. But how can we apply this when we are dealing with the chaos in our lives?

One way to deal with the chaos is to remember that God is sovereign—He is powerful and is in control of everything. Even though the situation may seem out of control, we can rest assured that God has a great plan for our good. So, no matter what we are facing, trust that God knows what is best for us.

Another way to deal with the chaos is to focus on positivity. This doesn’t mean that we ignore the negative things that are happening. But it does mean that we choose to focus on the good. When we do this, it helps us to keep our perspective healthy and to remember that God is in control.

Lastly, by taking action, we can get through the chaos. This doesn’t mean that we would manipulate things badly. But it does mean that we do what we can to make a difference. We can pray, help others, and trust God to work His plan in His perfect timing. By taking action, we are doing something instead of sitting idly by.

What Are the Manifestations of Chaos in Our Lives?
